We’re excited to share that our very own Pilbara Representative Jen Colditz has been named a Finalist for not one, but two major industry awards, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Outback Beef and the broader red meat sector. Jen plays a vital role in connecting with our Pilbara community and truly embodies our values of respect and accountability.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

Jen is nominated for Employee of the Year at PHCCI 2025 Business Excellence Awards. This is a very well-deserved commendation of her tireless hard work and immense passion in all that she does.

The PHCCI Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony on the 14th of June, where Outback Beef is also proud to be nominated in four other categories. After being granted the high honour of Best Overall Business at last year’s awards, we are immensely grateful and eager to celebrate our wonderful Port Hedland community.

ONE TO WATCH

Jen’s achievements don’t end there, she was also selected as a Finalist for the Meat Business Women‘s One to Watch Award. This national accolade celebrates the innovation, leadership, and dedication of young women in the Australian meat industry.

At Outback Beef, we’re passionate about supporting our team members to help them grow in their careers and enact meaningful change in the community. Jen is a shining example of the kind of talent and enthusiasm that will drive our industry forward.

MEAT INDUSTRY AMBASSADOR

Last month, Jen joined fellow team member, Charlotte, to represent Outback Beef at Meat & Livestock Australia‘s Ambassadors for the Red Meat Industry Program in Broome. The professional development workshop equips participants with tools in media engagement and community outreach to help bridge the gap between the livestock industry and consumers.

“Red meat ambassadors play a critical role in building public trust by sharing transparent, real-world insights into animal welfare, sustainability, and production standards,” Jen said.

We couldn’t agree more. It’s this kind of leadership and integrity that will shape the future of our industry for the better.

A BRIGHT FUTURE

From the paddocks to the boardroom to the national stage, Jen continues to make a meaningful impact wherever she goes. We’re thrilled to see her hard work be recognised and can’t wait to see her career continue to flourish.

Please join us in cheering Jen on at the upcoming PHCCI Awards, and in celebrating her as one of the next generation of leaders in the red meat industry.
